ABOUT

David Arms is an animator, designer, and artist based in Brooklyn, NY.
Born in Syracuse, David moved to New York City to study film production and fine art, and later went on to teach himself animation.

In 2020, he earned a small role at Octopus Interactive where he quickly climbed the ranks to Senior Motion Designer. It’s here he helped to pioneer new methods of animation and gameplay in the emerging rideshare advertising space for some of the largest brands in the world. His short cartoon created for Octopus, Left Behind, has been seen by millions of Uber & Lyft passengers around the country and to this day is probably the only love story about a sock out there.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, writing poetry, creating collages and crafting elaborate props for his Dungeons & Dragons groups.
