Animation

I brought these branded mobile games to life for a range of advertisers, handling everything from initial concept and visual design to animation and final development. While the videos below are demo excerpts, these games are live on Octopus Interactive’s rideshare tablets, so if you see one in your next Uber or Lyft ride be sure to play it!

Mcdonald’s

The Angel Reese Special Contest

For their collaboration with WNBA star Angel Reese, McDonald’s wanted to create a basketball game that harkened back to early 90s hip-hop music video aesthetic with tactile grungy paper collage visuals. I was all too happy to oblige! In this game the player has to score 3 baskets, each using a unique item from the Angel Reese QPC Special Meal (BBQ Bacon QPC, fries and a Hi-C to wash it down).

Samsung

Flip the Flip4

A key feature of the Samsung Galaxy Flip phone is its unique ability to fold in half. So naturally it seemed like a great fit to develop a Pac-Man inspired game where the phone consumes pellets on screen. Once the user presses the big red button, the phone turns a corner to eat icons that represent different capabilities of the Galaxy Flip 4 phone.

Betonline

Endzone Dash

To celebrate the Superbowl 2024, BetOnline asked me to develop a retro arcade-style football game. In it, the player has to make it from one end of the football field to the other all while avoiding getting hit by the opposing team. Run into too many enemies and you’ll get tackled into a dogpile!

Skillz

Rideshare Bubble Cube 2

Skillz develops mobile games for phones, so when they wanted to bring the Bubble Cube 2 experience to rideshare tablets the game had to be rebuilt from the ground up. I handled all this, converting it from portrait to landscape and worked closely with our engineering team to ensure the interactive elements matched the original game.

Google

PIXEL PERFECT PERSONA

Have you ever wondered what type of phone you might be? In honor of the collaboration between Google and T-Mobile, these brands wanted to create a personality test highlighting the various colors of the Google Pixel phone. While it was at first difficult to blend the visual branding of these two companies together, both were extremely pleased with the results.

HEB

mi Tienda Claw Game

In this classic claw game, the user is shown several items that they can try to grab before the time is up. With some careful timing the claw picks up one of several HEB Mi Tienda products before dropping it into the gift area. The player is then presented with a discount to enjoy at participating HEB stores so they can enjoy their “prizes” in real life!

Hard Rock Bet

MLS Penalty Kick

To boost awareness of Hard Rock Bet’s collaboration with the Fifa 2025 World Cup, they asked to create a soccer game. Users have to tap at just the right time to kick the ball into the net or else the goalie will catch it.

TikTok

Social shopping Swiper

This interactive experience was crafted to replicate the experience of swiping through TikTok all while in the backseat of a rideshare vehicle. As the rider swipes, they are shown a series of videos promoting different products while the dynamic QR code changes allowing those who scan to go directly to the TikTok Shop to purchase whichever individual product is on screen.

Audible

lord of the rings Content sampler

Audible wanted help in solving a unique challenge: to use the primarily video-centric medium of rideshare advertising to promote their audiobooks. After building and A/B testing several variations I found that this layout presented the highest engagement rate. Thankfully Audible loved it, which secured longstanding recurring business with them! As a huge Tolkien fan, I was thrilled when they asked me to create a version for their collection of Lord of the Rings audiobooks.
