R Process Timelapse

For the ‘R’ I was really in love with the idea of animating someone on an R-shaped pool float. To give my team more options I also made a sunset scene, where a backlit couple form the negative space at the bottom of the letter.

E Process Timelapse

In this timelapse video I’m working out 3 possible designs for the letter ‘E’.
It was between making a hand with a drink, a relaxed fisherman, or a jolly flamingo by a waterfall.

All together Now

After all the designers completed our animated letters everything was compiled together to spell “SUMMERTIME”.
This would play in Uber & Lyft vehicles with a live timer counting down the time remaining until the first day of summer.
